The aim of the workshop is to bring together a group of researchers in the areas of Nonparametric Statistics, and Applied Geometry. The scientific program will focus on the following topics:
The objective is to develop tools for handling the geometrical nature of data in higher dimensions, to introduce modern statistical methods to researchers in applied geometry, and to open the world of differential and integral geometry to statisticians. One workshop is not sufficient to answer all questions related to this area but we hope that fruitful discussions and new connections will be started and that the workshop will be followed by other meetings either in Prague or in other places.
